When casino host Randy Kennedy is found crouched over the dead wife of one of Las Vegas’s high-rollers, he flees the scene, pursued by not only the cops but the dead woman’s mobster husband. Randy seeks sanctuary at the home of Angela Grisham, who he knows he can trust, even if she has had the poor taste to spurn his romantic advances. 

When a second homicide takes the life of a wealthy casino mogul, Randy, again at the wrong place and time, becomes the main suspect. When Dante Cole is murdered on the night of the casino’s grand opening, Raine becomes a suspect. He and Shelby set out to prove his innocence, putting themselves on the radar of the real killer and both their lives in danger.

His bosses say the gaming floor’s being mismanaged, but marketing executive Brian Shepard is determined to find out if the losses could be the result of theft.
